Privacy Policy — Where Again?
Last updated: 2 July 2026
Where Again? (“the app”) is a photo memory game. This policy explains what the app
does and does not do with your data. In short: your photos stay on your
device, and the app does not collect, track, or share your personal data.
Photos
- With your permission, the app reads photos from your device’s photo library to
build memory rounds from your own trips.
- All photo analysis (choosing playable photos, reading on-image text, and
estimating locations) happens entirely on your device.
- Your photos and their contents are never uploaded to us or to any third
party.
Location
- The app can restore an estimated location to a photo that is missing one. This is
written to the photo in your library only after you explicitly confirm
it.
- To turn place names into map points, the app may send a recognized place name
(text only, never your photo) to Apple’s Maps service. This is handled by Apple
under Apple’s own privacy terms.
- The app does not track or record your real-time device location.
Data We Collect
None. The app has no account system, no analytics, no advertising, and no tracking.
Your game progress and settings are stored only on your device.
Subscriptions
Optional “Where Again? Plus” subscriptions are processed by Apple through the App
Store. We do not receive or store your payment information. Subscriptions are managed
in your Apple account settings.
Children
The app does not knowingly collect any personal information from anyone, including
children.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new
date.
