WonderRoll Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 5, 2026
WonderRoll is designed as a private, on-device film camera workflow. Your rolls, captured frames, notes, darkroom location, and app settings are stored locally on your device.
Information WonderRoll Uses
- Camera: used to capture frames into your rolls.
- Location: used to set your darkroom and check whether developing is allowed.
- Photos: requested only when you export developed frames to your photo library.
- Purchases: subscriptions are processed by Apple through StoreKit. WonderRoll does not receive your payment card details.
Data Collection
WonderRoll does not operate a server for app data, does not include third-party analytics, does not include advertising SDKs, and does not track you across apps or websites.
Local Storage
Captured and developed frames, roll metadata, notes, darkroom settings, and subscription state are stored on your device. Deleting a roll removes its local frames from WonderRoll storage.
Sharing
WonderRoll does not sell or share personal data. When you choose to export a developed frame, iOS saves that image to your photo library using Apple's Photos framework.
Permissions
You can revoke Camera, Location, and Photos permissions at any time in iOS Settings. Some WonderRoll features may not work without the permissions they need.
